JOKER, an upcoming workshop on Automatic Pun and Humour Translation, was previewed today at the 44th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR 2022) in Stavanger, Norway.
The JOKER workshop, co-organized by OFAI's Tristan Miller, aims to bring translators and computer scientists together to develop data and evaluation metrics for the (semi-)automatic translation of humorous language. It will be held during the CLEF 2022 conference in Bologna from 5 to 8 September, 2022.
