Distinguishing features of Intelligent
Information Agents are their capabilities to
communicate, coordinate their activities, and
collaborate on the distributed solution of
tasks. This working group addresses topics from
these three neighbouring areas, setting out from
a central focus on coordination and identifying
requirements for both the capabilities of
individual agents but also infrastructural
needs.
The working group fosters specific thematic
collaborations between academia, research
groups, and industry so as to improve over
current state of the art and identify novel
application areas.
As for all AgentLink activities, membership in
this Working Group is primarily defined via
active involvement, by suggesting topics and
joining ongoing work: in case of interest,
please get in touch with the Working Group
Coordinator, Paolo Petta of the Austrian
Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence
(Paolo.Petta@ofai.at).
For more detailed information on the Intelligent Information Agents SIG please contact the SIG Coordinators, Sonia Bergamaschi and Matthias Klusch.
